We are very proud that our home and Nopolo and Loreto Bay have been certified under the Earthcheck program as meeting exemplary environmental sustainability standards for destinations involved in the Tourism Industry. This is the seventh year in a row we have achieved this certification with this year being a Gold year certification.
We have new, upscale designer furniture, and all the creature comforts to make your vacation a success. We are an extra large Casa Bohemia, which is the best home for large indoor/outdoor living! We have two bedrooms, both with king size beds and a queen sized sleep sofa. We have two and one half baths and we are located in the Founder's Neighborhood, which is very important so you don't have to walk a long time to get to the restaurants, bars, and beach! Other neighborhoods in Loreto Bay are lovely, but it can be a long, hot walk to the beach and the restaurants. We also have purified water tapped directly in to the kitchen sink so you don't have to lug heavy water jugs or use disposable bottles!
All three pools, the best wine bar and coffee bar in Baja and the hotel are just outside your front door. We are just 10 minutes south of the town of Loreto, Baja California Sur, Mexico.
This luxury home is built in authentic Mission style architecture and just steps away from the beach, with views of the Sierra de la Giganta mountain range. Beautifully appointed and furnished, the home features interior courtyard and rooftop terrace and Casbah style viewing tower, to view the stunning mountains and the Sea of Cortez. There are three outside living areas to enjoy and warm your soul.
Our interior landscaped private courtyard is the perfect place for morning coffee. Turn on the gurgling fountain and exotic birds come for a morning dip. Enjoy a sunset or cocktails on the upper deck, complete with lounge chairs, patio set, sink and barbecue. Late at night, fall asleep under the stars as the ceiling fan whirls away your cares from the spectacular viewing tower. Activities are numerous, including scuba diving, kayaking, deep sea fishing, snorkeling, mountain biking, hiking, and whale watching. Surrounding amenities include 4 swimming pools (one a spectacular lap pool) , a tennis center, a natural preserve, and a championship-caliber golf course.
There is so much to love about a vacation to Loreto Mexico! The distinct natural beauty that blankets the region is unparalleled, the serene ambiance that radiates from every corner of the quaint Mexican town is almost unheard of nowadays. Most of all, the once-in-a-lifetime experiences that abound make for a vacation experience that simply cannot be beat.
While a longtime gem in the history of the nation, the small town of Loreto is relatively new on the tourist radar and visitors are just now discovering what they love about the destination. the long list ranges from golfing on the rolling desert terrain, to snorkeling off Nopolo rock, just outside our back door. Off roading, fishing, (some of the best in the world) kayaking, paddlboarding, camping and marine life viewing in what has been called "the aquarium of the world" are just some of the activities. While each unique adventure brings about wonderful memories, whale watching is definitely among crowd favorites.
It is important to note that our home is not good for parties or loud music. The homes are very close together and we have association rules which prohibit loud music or noise after 10:00 pm. The swimming pools also close after 10:00 pm.
