Summary: The best way to describe this property is “wow.” An absolutely beautiful villa set among large trees, shrubs and flowering plants, everywhere, and some views of the mountains. It feels very secluded, but only a 15-20 minute walk to the heart of town. Creative artwork everywhere, in every room. Loads of wonderful outdoor areas to enjoy, including a comfortable “living room” area where our group of 10 “seniors” would mingle each morning and evening, and several other outdoor areas where we dined most nights. Huge pool with more sitting areas. The bedrooms were large and comfortable, all with private bath, and there were two indoor living areas to enjoy, and a restaurant quality kitchen (she used to run a restaurant there).Our wonderful host Alice gave us a warm welcome, with loads of tips on nearby sights and restaurants in St. Remy and surrounding areas. Highly recommended.
