Our Contemporary Alpine Cottage is 500 m. from Hanazono Ski Resort (powder snow playground in winter) and adjacent to a fine golf course for summer. It is fully furnished and equipped with everything you need in a cozy mountain retreat, incl. a small modern kitchen and fully renovated new bathroom. The interior is warm and light filled with high ceilings, cedar wall panels and a "floating roof" effect. Wonderful view of Mount Weiss, from a quiet enclave. Great for one or two couples or small families.
The space
Our Contemporary Alpine Cottage is 72 sqm (760 sf) interior area, but feels roomier than that due to a sloping two story volume throughout the Living Dining Kitchen area.

Guest access
The Cottage sits on its own lot with plenty of space and privacy between its neighbors. Access to entire cottage is yours with exception of Owner's storage closet. Please feel free to use our children's sleds and snowball maker in winter. The gentle sloping side yards make wonderful sledding and snowman building terrain.
Location
Quiet and secluded property close (500 meters) to the Hanazono Ski / Golf Resort. Can easily walk to slopes or golf in 10-15 minutes. Very private. This is truly a mountain retreat.
During the winter - Powder hounds and families will love our location and proximity to the Hanazono Base Lodge, which offers much less crowded access to first tracks then does Hirafu, at the famed Strawberry and Blueberry Fields or the gladed tree runs off the upper Hanazono 3 chairlift (“Gate 5”), as well as direct access to children's sledding and tubing runs in the base family area.
In summer - The same area converts into a wonderful base camp for other family activities including golf, river rafting, mountain biking, tubing, zip lines, bouncy castles and other summer fun.
Very close to the new Park Hyatt Hotel at Hanazono, which features a number of high quality restaurants at the ski resort base.

-The Entry door is covered and protected from weather.
- Driveway plowing during winter is included - no extra charge
- But Guests are responsible for clearing the steps of snow from driveway to covered
entry. This is about a 5 meter long path. Shovels are provided (or we can arrange for
shoveling service at extra cost).
- Please note the Cottage is not entirely "child proof." For example, there is a short
open stair to the Loft.
