At Miska Haven, nature’s door is always open, and you will be right on its doorstep! With 1800 feet of riverfront and 15 acres of woods to explore, there is no shortage of nature to enjoy. It has a gentle way of nurturing and encouraging us, so when you come and stay, be prepared for a nudge outside to bask in its beauty. Miska Haven is ideal for a romantic getaway, family reunion, corporate retreat or gathering of friends. Whether you are looking for a quiet weekend or an extended vacation, we welcome you and look forward to sharing nature’s paradise with you. Our property consists of a private cabin nestled in the woods, set back from the river and secluded from our home. Your accommodations include access to a gazebo, firepit, pond, and dock. The Shuswap River is accessible from the dock for swimming, fishing, tubing, kayaking or canoeing… the perfect “home base” for outdoor activities in the North Okanagan, or the ideal place to relax and recharge your batteries. The cabin comes with access to half the property, complete with three RV hookups (ie water/power) and loads of room for tents. There is an extra charge for trailers and tents. The cabin is pet-free to accommodate guests with allergies; pets are welcome on the property as long as they are kennelled outdoors. This area is renowned for its wineries and outdoor activities... - swimming/tubing/boating/fishing in the Shuswap River (accessible from our docks) or nearby lakes (Hidden, Mable and Mara and Shuswap Lakes are all within 30 minutes) - hiking the Enderby Cliffs - road biking from our doorstep and mountain biking on the Okanagan Rail Trail at Silver Star Mountain Resort - golf at one of 7 courses within 30 minutes - renowned ski resorts (nordic at Larch Hills or Sovereign Lake, alpine at Silver Star or Revelstoke) - snowmobiling at Hunters Range
