Positive: Staff responded to emails quickly, apartment is 1 block from the Promenade and Independence Gardens. Bars and restaurants just 5 mins away, centre of St Julian's 20 mins away along promenade. Couple of convenience stores 50 yards away.
Negative: The apartment while superficially clean is in need of a deep clean - lots of dust on skirting boards, socket tops, etc; the lower tiles of the shower have mold and mildew. The shower shelf unit is completely rusted. Construction work (drilling and hammering) in the nextdoor building started at 7am most mornings. There is a Tower Crane base (large concrete blocks) immediately outside the building meaning there is no view and daylight in the main room - we were not warned about this. Other occupiers of the building frequently leave the main front door open meaning anyone can access building - as there is no safe in the apartment we felt we had to carry all valuables with us - it would be good to install a safe. The TV remote was missing - when we informed the agents they tried to source a replacement quickly but didn't manage it before we left.
Summary: Disappointed with this apartment.
