Summary: I went into the vacation extremely excited to stay in Deep Creek for a holiday weekend with all of my best high school buddies. Immediately, upon enter the home there was an extremely foul odor and I was unsure of where it was even coming from initially. After I attempted to wash my hands did I realize that the water smell horribly like rotten eggs. It was one of the most disturbing smells I've ever smelled. After all of the guests got there we all had a discussion and I attempted to contact the owner, I was unsuccessful for a while. I only got an answer back when I tried to call and leave a voicemail- I was told to not call and only message which I did not understand and made me feel that how I felt/ and the situation I was dealing with was very unimportant. My friends and I spent over $3,500 on a place that we could not even wash our hands, brush our teeth, or shower. The cleanliness was extremely concerning and disheartening. The pipes must have been smelling this way for weeks and the fact that it wasn't checked prior is unsettling. My friends and I all ended up needing to purchase and 1 day gym membership costing us a total of $220 just to shower because the house we spent $3,500 needed the water filter changed. I am just extremely upset and I feel as thought my concerns were not addressed in a timely manner or in a caring manner.
