Stay in this gorgeous modern 5 bedroom 3 bathroom home with trail access to Thetis lake! Located in Millstream close to a vibrant shopping center with all desired amenities. The space includes bedrooms with 1 king bed, 3 queen beds, and a bunk bed and crib for families. A spacious living room with a sofa bed, fully equipped kitchen, 3 bathrooms all with towels and amenities, desk workspace, smart TV, patio, yard, 2 car parking and keypad access. Great for all business & leisure travellers!
HOUSE DESCRIPTION:
When you arrive, you will be able to park in the driveway and enter through the front door, using your own unique key code. Head through the entryway and you will see a door on your left and one on your right. There are both yours to enjoy!
Enter your uniquer code into both of these doors to access your areas. On the left is the ground level suite and straight ahead, walk up the stairs to find your luxurious 4 bedroom home. Parking includes 2 spots in the front driveway (in-front of the #1 and #2 signs)
The kitchen is fully equipped with all cooking supplies as well as dishes, condiments, a dishwasher, full oven, fridge, stick blender, and other small appliances. There is beautiful island bar in the middle with stools as well as a great dining table right beside a gas fireplace. There is a bathroom right beside the kitchen for your convenience.
You may also share a meal together or relax in the evenings on the back patio which includes stair access down to the lower yard area. The yard is shared with the suite below and has a lawn and garden with a second patio and pergola.
The living room is spacious and comfortable with lots of light. It includes a large queen sofa bed, a second sofa, lounging chairs (1 chaise), gas fireplace, and a 60 inch flatscreen LED smart TV for all your favourite streaming services (your own guest login required). Lots of room for kids activities and a safety gate for the staircase, in case you have small children. Also a workspace desk included by the window.
The bedroom by the living area is perfect for kids and includes a bunk bed with a double bottom mattress and twin top. There is also a foldable crib with extra linens for infants.
The master bedroom includes a king bed with a walk in closet and lounge space for reading or quiet time. There is a separate on-suite bathroom with shower and jacuzzi bath tub for your relaxation.
The other 2 bedrooms have comfortable queen beds with closets and a lounge chairs.
Downstairs you'll find a secluded and private ensuite which has a luxurious queen bed, a full private bathroom, lounge area, kitchenette with bar, and private laundry.
Space includes a desk workspace and great for business travellers or remote workers.
The hallway includes a stacker washer dryer unit which is equipped with laundry detergent for you. Easy to operate with many cycle features.
GUEST ACCESS:
When you arrive, you will be able to park in the driveway and enter through the front door, using your own unique key code. Parking includes 2 spots in the front driveway (in-front of the #1 and #2 signs). The key code will be provided to your 1 day prior to check in.
You have 24 hour access and arrive time is flexible for you. Simply enter your code when you arrive and start enjoying the space.
There are 2 units in the the house that have separate entrances and each suite is completely self contained and private. All doors have key pad access. You must first enter the front entrance, and then head straight through the second door and up the stairs to find your suite.
The separate downstairs bedroom and bath are to the left in the entry way and through the door.
OTHER DETAILS:
- Driveway parking is shared with the other suites. There is room for 2 cars of yours in the driveway. There is also a free street parking area in on the street down on Phelps road if you have more than 2 vehicles. Please do not park on the side of the road in the complex.
- Wifi is high speed Shaw internet for fast connection and office productivity.
- Please use only powder soap in the Bosch laundry machines.
- Access trail to Thetis Lake is seconds away and is a beautiful lake for nature hiking, swimming, paddle boarding, kayaking, fishing, and more!
NEIGHBOURHOOD:
You are close to Millstream Village which is a vibrant community with access to local grocery stores, coffee shops, restaurants, gas, liquor, Costco, retail stores, transit and more! Save-On-Foods is 5 minutes from the house and has everything to satisfy your fresh grocery needs. There are a ton of amazing restaurants in the area from all different types of cuisine.
There are some excellent fitness centers, spas, recreation, and outdoor activities that we can recommend to you that are close and in the area. Some great golf courses close by including the beautiful Bear Mountain resort, which is under a 10 min drive from the house.
Some other nearby amenities include Elements Casino, Langford Lanes Bowling, ice-skating, rinks, pools with sauna and spa, and Hatley Castle.
Don't forget about the incredible hiking and trail access right outside your door. The trails take you through the beautiful Thetis lake parkland which will let you experience true west coast nature and lake country. Lake includes public beaches that are great for swimming and lake activities.
GETTING AROUND:
The house is located about a 2 min drive and 12 min walk from Millstream village which includes an abundance of amenities. To the Victoria downtown core this will typically be a 15 minute drive, but it can vary depending on traffic.
Public transit (BC Transit) will get you downtown in 45 minutes and there is a bus stop 2 minutes from the front door! However, there is one transfer with this transit method. You can take the #57 bus and then transfer to the #95 bus which will take you the rest of the way downtown. This time can also vary, depending on the time of day you travel. If using public transit, we recommend searching using search engine navigation or the BC transit website.
Victoria recently approved ride share such as UBER at this point but Taxi cabs are always a call away. There are services such as Modo car share, or Turo!
