Summary: The weather was cold and rainy, so no pool unfortunately. Of course no fault of the accommodations! The location was not terrific for walking, as the sidewalks were iffy and the roads were scary for pedestrians. Not a long walk to shops and restaurants, but didn’t feel too safe. Alina, our host, was very helpful and kind, and for a fee, she picked us up from the airport as well, which was a big help, and also arranged for a taxi to go into Athens, about 25 minutes away. The room had Netflix so we could watch a show — that was nice. The queen-sized bed looked good, but it was so hard I had to switch to the twin bed in the middle of the night because my back couldn’t take it. Overall, it was an okay place for a short layover.
