Set in historic 100 year old Brownstone with private ground floor entrance, access to peaceful backyard. Our happy home has been renovated by a master British craftsman. We live in the triplex above with our black Lab Babette, and are just steps away if needed. Includes state of the art appliances, and brand new furnishings. Walking distance to award winning restaurants, bars, shops, 5min from Prospect Park. 10 min walk to B/Q, R, F/G, 2/3 trains, 20 min to Manhattan by train.

The space
Centrally located in the very heart of Park Slope, the garden apartment is situated on a tree-lined street in walking distance to everything and across the street from an elementary school where you can hear the children playing in the schoolyard at lunch time. We have been living in our brownstone in the triplex for 25 years, above the apartment. The garden apartment has a private entrance with personal key code and plenty of privacy. The bedroom is situated next to the backyard and is very peaceful.

Summary: While visiting our children in Brooklyn following the pandemic shutdown, we were most fortunate to stay in this lovely garden apartment. One couldn’t ask for more when searching for a home away from home. The wonderful hosts have thought of every detail to make this a unique and comfortable experience. They were most accommodating in addressing any needs that came up. The location is perfect for exploring Prospect Park, walking to the farmer’s market on Saturday, dining in cafes, getting groceries and exploring Brooklyn. We plan to stay here when we return and are happy to have found the perfect home away from home!
