Summary: With ducted reverse cycle aircon throughout, this spacious Darling Point apartment offers 3 bedrooms, 2 living areas, 2 bathrooms and fantastic views of Sydney Harbour, including the iconic Harbour Bridge. It’s also well-located, walking distance to the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia, Rushcutters Bay Park, the Edgecliff Centre, Kings Cross, Darlinghurst and Edgecliff Station, with major shopping hub Bondi Junction a short drive away. Parking is available for 1 car. The Space: A flight of stairs brings you up to this stunning, fully airconditioned apartment, the interiors of which were redesigned by noted architect Peter Reeve (of Blue Mountains’ Hydro Majestic hotel fame). To the right of the stairs, you’ll find a spacious, carpeted living /dining area with a comfy sofa, occasional chairs, a large ‘smart’ TV, an 8 person dining table, and most impressively, huge picture windows showcasing views of the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia and Sydney Harbour beyond, including the Harbour Bridge. To the left of the stairs, a herringbone patterned hallway leads to a fully renovated kitchen with lots of bench space, a 4-burner gas cooktop, under-bench oven and microwave, dishwasher, family-sized fridge and an espresso coffee maker. There are 2 bedrooms on this floor, both with queen-sized beds, plantation shutters to control the light flow, and plenty of wardrobe space for longer stays. The bathroom on this level has a double vanity and a large shower recess with a frameless glass screen. Another flight of stairs brings you up to the 2nd floor, where you’ll find a second living space with a sofa, occasional chairs and its own ‘smart TV’. There’s also a 3rd loft bedroom on this level that has a queen sized bed and a skylight window with more views out to the harbour. A second bathroom comes with a floating bath and shower, as well as a ‘European laundry’ providing a washing machine and separate dryer. The Neighborhood: A blue chip harbourside suburb, Darling Point is situated just 4 kilometres east of Sydney’s CBD (Downtown), bounded by Sydney Harbour, Double Bay, Edgecliff and Rushcutters Bay. The apartment itself is ideally located, directly opposite the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia (where the world-renowned Sydney-to-Hobart Yacht Race starts), and a stroll to beautiful Rushcutters Bay Park on the harbour. It’s an 11 minute walk to the Edgecliff Centre where you’ll find a Coles supermarket, eateries, specialty shops and medical practitioners. The buzzy nightlife of Kings Cross is just across the park, as well as a great choice of eateries in nearby Darlinghurst. Bondi Junction, a shopping, eatery and transport centre, is 10 minutes away by car, with Sydney’s world-renowned Bondi Beach just a little further. Getting Around: There’s space for 1 car in front of the garage. If you prefer public transport, it’s a 10 minute walk to Edgecliff Station, where you can catch regular bus and train services to Bondi Junction in one direction and Central Station in the other, both of which are major transport hubs. Other Things to Note: * An additional $40 will be charged to your total if a check-in happens after 8 pm, and we require your arrival time as the Concierge does not live on site. * A mandatory full clean of the property and complete linen change will be done every 4 weeks and added to your total booking amount for any booking longer than a month.
