It is convenient to Blowing Rock, Banner Elk, and all the High Country offers. Downtown Banner Elk is less than 30 miles, with numerous popular attractions to explore on the way. Sugar Mountain Ski Resort, the Sugar Mountain Public Golf Course, and Wilderness Run Alpine outdoor roller coaster are 20 miles. Grandfather Mountain and its famous Profile Hiking Trails are about 16 miles.
Red Maple Retreat offers a main floor living space with a gas log fireplace and TV, a spacious kitchen and dining area, and an open-air deck with a gas grill.
