A comfortable space in a great location. Ideally for 2 people but there is a sofa bed for a 3rd person if you need it ($30 extra person fee). Away from the crowds but only a 10 minute walk to town. A queen bedroom with cupboard and dresser. A bathroom with shower. A studio area with lounge and kitchenette. The kitchenette has a counter with microwave, kettle, and toaster for continental breakfast and takeaways. The lounge has a sofa bed and large ranch sliders. Washing machine. Outdoor patio with seating and room to lock up your bikes.
You are free to enjoy this ground floor apartment and patio all to yourselves. We are able to arrange self check in through a lock box. There is plenty of free on street parking right in front of the apartment. We hope you enjoy your stay.
We are not in the centre of Wanaka but in a superb location conveniently located just a short walk and away from the crowds. We are a short 10 minute walk through the park opposite the apartment into the centre with the shops, restaurants, lake, lakeside walks and cycling. Also walking distance to the Mt Iron walking tracks.
Wanaka District Club right next door for a thai dinner and a drink. A cafe and bakery right behind the apartment for a lovely start to the day. There is also a local pub/brewery, butcher, gym, and a bottle store all within the immediate area. There is also a local park with a public bbq and a small playground for the kids.
Local shuttles available to the ski areas in the winter (Cardrona and Treble Cone 45 minute transfer).
A couple things;
We are only a 10 minute walk to the centre of town but it is uphill on the way back. A short, lovely walk especially if you are here for the outdoors!
Please note there is not a full kitchen in the apartment. We provide a kitchentte with a kettle, toaster, and microwave for continental breakfasts and takeaways.
