The Space
Our condo is a great option for those looking for a spot near downtown and wanting to stay on a budget. The studio mimics the size of a motel room but has the amenities of a small apartment. There is a queen size bed, small table, TV with cable, and queen sofa bed. The kitchen has been renovated with stainless steal appliances added (no dishwasher).
The complex is a bit older so don't expect a fancy building. What makes the studio desirable are two main features: the pool and location. The pool is literally outside your doorstep and the studio itself is in the heart of the Melrose/8th Ave neighborhood; central to where ever you want to be in Nashville. It's only 3 miles from Honky Tonk Row, a 7-10 minute Lyft ride.
**The pool is open seasonally, roughly Memorial Day Weekend thru September.**
Guest Access
You'll have access to the entire unit, laundry facility, & the pool during open season (roughly Memorial Day thru September).
There is a parking lot on site with enough spots for 1 car per unit. Additional parking can be found up the street from the complex.
Interaction with Guests
We let our guests have their space but if needed, will be around to help. If you have any questions, concerns, or anything to share during your stay, our team will be available for you.

The Neighborhood
The condo is located in the Melrose/8th Ave area. The street has been increasingly rising as one of Nashville's hot spots but hasn't yet been overtaken by the crowds you'll find on Honky Tonk Row (Broadway). There are a number of tasty local restaurants and a few fun bars near by such as Cilantro (across the street), M.L. Rose, Sinema, The Sutler, The Smiling Elephant, 8th and Roast, Craft Brewed, Melrose Billiards, and more. A great local music venue, the Basement, is up the street as well about a mile away.
**Please keep in mind that there is a new building being constructed next door to this building so there are limited sidewalks to use at this time.**
Honky Tonk Row is about 3 miles away. It's typically a 10 minute or less Lyft ride to downtown or if you're up for it, an extended walk (guests tell us about 40 min).
The Melrose area is a 5 minute drive to downtown Nashville but it's also a cool spot in its own right. Check out the cool bars and amazing restaurants. Head over to 12South and shop. Head to East Nashville, West End, Green Hills, Belmont Blvd Vandy... Everything is less than 15 minutes away!
Getting Around
ON FOOT
There are great local eateries, cafes, and bars nearby worth exploring within a 5-minute walk just North or South of the condo on 8th ave. Please keep in mind that currently there is a new building being constructed next door to this building so there are limited sidewalks to use at this time.
RIDESHARE
There are rideshares all over the city from Uber, Lyft, and even Earth Rides (Tesla cars only). They are easy to call anytime day or night. Pro traveler tip: download all apps to your phone so you can compare prices and get the cheapest option!
TAXIS
See the ride share option above, taxis are available however few and far between and can be quite pricey in Nashville. There are so many taxi companies that we really cannot recommend any one over another, and we encourage you to investigate rates and reviews to find one that suits your needs.

MTA BUSES
The MTA (Metro Transit Authority) Buses run all over Metro Nashville and even some surrounding counties. Very reasonable fares and the wide range of routes make the bus a cheap and easily navigable choice for visitors. The closest route to the studios will be #8.
NASHVILLE B-CYCLE
Nashville's bicycle sharing program has been a huge success with locals and tourists. Simply walk up to any Nashville B-Cycle station, swipe your credit card and pick out your red bike! The closest B-Cycle station to the will be in 12South (about a 20 minute walk away).
Other Things to Note
→ Upon booking, a Rental Agreement must be signed before any reservation is confirmed. You will receive the agreement to be signed upon submitting your booking.
→ Our nightly minimum varies depending on the time of year and day of the week. Refer to our calendar for the most up to date availability and feel free to message us with any questions. We will be in contact with you immediately if your booking does not meet our requirements and your card will not be charged.
→ The complex – the studio complex is old. It was built in the 1950s and it's age is starting to show. While we've taken measures to improve our condo, keep this in mind when booking. You won't be arriving to a fancy condo complex; it's a modest 2-story building sitting among trendy new construction. You will be booking this unit for the location and, if in the summer, the pool.
→ Please note before booking – while we have our quiet hours of 10 pm to 8 am, there is potential for noise as the complex is located in an urban area and you will have tenants above and beside you. We provide a sound machine for the unit but please be aware of this detail to make sure this condo is the right fit for you!
→ As soon as you step foot in Nashville, you'll notice that the skyline is peppered with cranes and other signs of the booming construction that is happening. Because of the construction, at times there are limited sidewalks to use. Please be conscious of your surroundings exploring about town.
→ Check in is at 4 pm // Check out is at 10 am. If you're looking to check in early or check out late, we suggest booking the night before or after your arrival. Otherwise, to be considerate to other guests, we cannot guarantee that an early check in or late check out request will be accommodated. Feel free to arrive anytime after 4 pm.
→ The pool is open seasonally - roughly Memorial Day thru September
→ Regarding the unit: Max occupancy is 4 people. There is no dishwasher. Laundry is on site, credit cards are accepted, no detergent is provided. Towels & linen are provided (including bedding for the sofa bed). Travel sized toiletries, a hairdryer, iron, and ironing board are provided. A drip coffee maker and basic kitchenware is also provided. Guests are responsible to provide any additional amenities desired such as additional toilet paper.
→ The studio is not suitable for children.
→ Once booked, we will ask for your email address to send you info about the property and the check in process. You will receive your code for entry one day before your arrival. This code will activate on your check-in day at 4 pm and deactivate at 10 am the day you check out.
