Nestled two blocks off of Main St. A quick 5 min. walk to the Sabinal River, which is up and moving, makes for a great sun-filled afternoon at the Utopia Park. Stop by the local Lost Maples Cafe or The Lunchbox on your way back for a quick bite to eat. There are menus in the house for both. There is a taco trailer and on the weekends BBQ occasionally.
This Renovated 1941 original homestead provides wonderful outdoor space & country charm. During WWII this house was an Officer's Barracks at Hondo Air Base in Hondo, Texas. Original, restored hardwood floors are a quaint reminder of it's history in Utopia. Situated on a large corner lot, this home speaks peace & down home comfort straight to the soul.
