LIVING AREAS
As you step inside, you’ll be captivated by the sweeping views that extend from the entrance to the private balcony. Two double doors open to the balcony, filling the space with natural light and offering panoramic views of the historic district and San Juan Bay. The open-concept living and dining area provides a refined yet cozy ambiance, complete with stylish and comfortable furnishings, a large flat-screen TV with cable, and high ceilings that enhance the spacious feel.
The apartment is equipped with high-speed WiFi and air conditioning to ensure your comfort. A modern, renovated full bathroom with wide shower is conveniently located in the hallway, making it easily accessible from both bedrooms and the common areas
SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS
Rogativa Vista comfortably accommodates up to four guests across two beautifully appointed bedrooms:

KITCHEN
Designed for both function and style, the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need for a delightful stay. Enjoy preparing meals with the provided stovetop, microwave, toaster, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher and coffee maker.
GETTING AROUND
This property does not include parking. If staying within the general San Juan/Metro area, we recommend moving around via Uber. If you decide to rent a car, there are various paid parking garages around Old San Juan - pricing varies as some charge by the hour and others have a flat rate.

LOCATION
Staying in Old San Juan is a truly unique experience filled with charm and character. From Rogativa Vista, you can comfortably walk anywhere within Old San Juan. The apartment is located on one of the quieter streets but still steps away from all the action. We recommend taking a cab from the airport and using Uber or taxi while you stay at Old San Juan. Renting a car is not necessary unless you are planning on road tripping. This is a truly walkable location with everything you need a short walk away. The apartment does not include parking. Nonetheless, there are convenient parking lots close to the apartment.
There are many things to do in the surrounding areas, here are some of our favorites, all within walking distance:
- Explore the El Morro Fort. There are daily tours of the fort and the large green areas have spectacular ocean views. Take a tour, have a picnic, and fly a kite. This is a must-do.
- Explore the iconic Calle San Sebastian nightlife. There is a large assortment of bars on this strip which is a favorite among locals on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
- Breakfast at “La Bombonera”. This is a Puerto Rican landmark well known for its locally inspired breakfast and pastries.
- Savor Stuffed Avocado. Healthy and "trendy" spot where you can create your own avocado bowl.
- Take a stroll around “Paseo La Princesa”, a waterfront walkway which you can start off at El Morro and finish of the walk with a rum tasting at Princesa Gastrobar at the end of the trail.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
We strongly recommend that all guests purchase travel insurance, especially during the peak months of Hurricane Season, which are July to October. Travel insurance is inexpensive and will reimburse travelers for most expenses associated with canceling travel outside of the cancellation window; however, this will depend on what the coverage purchased covers. Make sure to review and understand the options before purchase. Disclaimer: we are not associated with any travel insurance companies.
AMENITIES
West Indies strives to deliver top-notch service and amenities to guarantee our guests feel at home while visiting our properties. All of our properties are outfitted with freshly laundered bed linens and towels. We provide 2 bath towels per guest and 1 beach/pool towel per guest. Our properties typically include at least 2 beach chairs and an ice cooler.
West Indies provides the disposable amenities necessary to get your vacation off to a comfortable start. These amenities include 1 set of hotel size soaps and shampoos per bathroom, 3 garbage bags, 1 roll of paper towel, 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, 1 dish soap, 1 dish sponge, and a small amount of laundry detergent. We do not provide unlimited disposable amenities. It is your responsibility to review what is included in the property and stock with whatever else may be needed for the duration of your stay.
HOUSE RULES
Check-in time is at 4:00 pm
Check-out time is at 11:00 am
NO SMOKING: Smoking is strictly prohibited. A smoking fee of $500 will be charged if violated.
NO PETS:No pets are allowed at any time. A $300 fine will be charged if violated and you will be expelled from the property.
The host will not pay for a hotel, vacation rental, or transportation expenses incurred because of an interruption in water or electrical service. If water or electricity is interrupted for more than 3 hours, guests have the option of canceling their reservation and requesting a refund for the nights not used. Under no circumstances will we refund consumed nights.
All bookings are contingent on signing a short term rental agreement that will be sent via email. It must be signed within 48 hours of booking or before entering the property, whichever happens first.
Maximum occupancy of 4 adults/children at all times. This includes visitors.
Max. occupancy is strictly enforced and exceeding it may result in immediate cancellation of booking or being expelled from the property.
Towels and linens must only be used for their intended purpose. Do not stain them with food, grease or any other substance. Do not use towels to clean up any mess. Stained towels/linens will be charged.
Do not hang towels from the balcony or windows. A $100 fine may be applied if you break this rule.
