Summary: We loved this place! Even better in person than online. Very well equipped, comfortable bed, cute little deck in the back with Adirondack chairs—great place to have your coffee and watch a deer skip by. Warning—WiFi signal is really bad, so plan on unplugging during your stay. It was not a problem for us, but could be for others. Other minor issue was that we arrived at 8pm and hadn’t had dinner. There is a super cute pizza joint (Jack’s Hut) on the Freestone property, but it is only open 8-5pm. Wish it was open for dinner! Other than that, stay was perfect and peaceful and gorgeous! (Also, lovely 2-mile trail walk from freestone to the awesome Mazama store).
