Positive: If you ever feel like going back to a more elegant, peaceful age of travel this should be on your list. With beautifully kept, extensive grounds, and large rooms with high ceilings adorned with beautiful dark wood furniture and flooring, you can really enjoy the Laos countryside. There is also a beautiful pool big enough to swim lengths in, and the staff were very friendly and pleasant.
Negative: The buildings are getting a little tired in places. It would be nice if there was a bar open in the evenings.
