Summary: We stayed for a month at this beautiful condo at The Roy. The unit was clean and neat and very classy. Very comfortable. Pretty good views of parts of the harbor. Sheila, the property manager, met with us and showed us everything we needed to know about the unit, the appliances, the building rules, etc. and also set up a tour with the concierge who showed us the pool and pool table, sauna, exercise room, library, parking elevator, etc. Being there a month we really used the washer and dryer and the kitchen was well supplied with dishes, silver, appliances, cooking stuff, microwave, coffee maker, dishwasher - it was really complete for anything we wanted to do. Sheila had gobs of information about the neighborhood, restaurants, entertainment, exhibits, museums and lots more. An important point about this condo is the location. You are right in the middle of this beautiful city. Everything is within walking distance including the beautiful harbor, restaurants, the Neptune Theater (where we thoroughly enjoyed a really hilarious play), museums and other sightseeing kinds of things. My wife and I both agreed that The Roy was THE place to stay in Halifax and if and when we come back this is the place we will stay. What more can one say. It was terrific and we are so glad we came. Highly recommend. Thanks!
