Positive: This is a wonderful apartment in the heart of St Remy de Provence. Easy to walk and explore (even to Glanum) and lots of restaurants available. The hosts were very responsive, and there is free parking (Parking de la Liberation *), but it is a 10 minute or so walk. The hosts ask you to embrace thinking about the planet while you stay there, such as turning off the AC and the lights when you aren't in the apartment. Easy to do, good reminders of simple things we can do to conserve the resources we have. The space of the apartment (bedroom, living/dining room, and kitchen) exceeded our expectations. With our car, this was our Provenance hub: Pont du Gard, Avignon, Arles, Roussillon, Gordes, Fontaine de Vacluse, Les Baux, Saint Remy itself. If we had stayed two more nights, we would have been able to do Aix-en-Provence and Nimes. * Parking de la Liberation - enter by the sign for Municipal / Police, and keep winding your way back through small parking lots. You'll finally come to a very large lot. As you walk back from leaving your car, there's a sign for Centre Ville. It is mostly a walking path/alley, which takes you right across from Rue Lafayette.
Negative: There are steps up to the first floor as you enter the door to the apartment building. It was not an issue for us, but other travelers may need to know, especially with luggage.
