Rauris has a varied and modern ski area. The altitude of the ski area reaches up to 2175 metres. From here you have breathtaking views of Austria's highest mountain, the Großglockner (3798 metres). The ski area is clear and offers plenty of easy runs. There are excellent practice slopes, ski schools with playing fields and treadmills. This makes this ski area very popular with families with children. Want to spend a day skiing somewhere else? The Gasteinertal, Zell am See and the Hochkönig region are within easy reach. The Rauriser valley is also known for its many touring skiing and cross-country skiing opportunities and winter hiking trails.
Within 30 minutes you can reach Kaprun's famous glacier. You can ski all year round here! In Rauris, you have access to a hiking network with over 295 kilometres of marked trails.
