2 Bedroom Condo in Turre

Casa George is situated in the beautiful valley of Cortijo Grande, which is a 5 minute drive from the lovely small town of Turre.The property is 5 minute from the motorway, the Auto Via Mediterraneo. This road is direct from Almeria, Murcia and Alicante airports. There is plenty of parking at the duplex! To enter the duplex you can either descend a few steps, or walk down an adjacent ramp.
The spectacular views from the master bedroom and sitting room look across a lovely old golf course now ,sadly not in use, towards the Cabrera mountains
The duplex is entered via the 1st floor; On this floor there is a roomy twin bedded room with a westerly view across mountains. Fitted wardrobes are supplied. air conditioning is fiited plus a ceiling fan. Additionally a chest of drawers is in the room.
The master bedroom is very large with a king size bed, memory foam/pocket sprung cool gel mattress, ensuite bathroom with shower over the bath. Fitted wardrobes are supplied.The french windows open out
onto a large balcony with the incredible view over the golf course towards the hamlet of Cabrera and the Cabrera mountains.
There is a second shower room, toilet and basin adjacent to the twin bedded room.
Both bedrooms have ceiling fans fitted. Louvre shutters are fitted, with insect screens to the outside of both bedrooms windows. These are adjustable, to allow light and fresh air into the rooms. Both bedrooms are fitted with air conditioning, which is reversible, for heating in cooler periods. Also fiited are ceiling fans. A chest of drawers is supplied.
To reach the ground floor you go from the entrance door, straight down the terracotta tiled stairs, where you find a very well equipped kitchen on your left.There is a washing machine, fridge-freezer and microwave, as well as plenty of cutlery and crockery and kitchen tools. The oven hob is fueled by gas, and the oven is electric.
The sitting room is airy and spacious with French windows looking onto the terrace.There are two sofas seating 4-6 persons comfortably. An extendable dining table with 4 dining chairs.
Satellite TV at 43 inches is supplied and an internet connection. A ceiling fan is fitted and a gas fire is available, for chilly evenings, if you are visiting at that time of the year! Reversible air conditioning is fitted.
Through the french windows you pass onto a large terrace, with plenty of room for entertaining. A circular table and 4 chairs are supplied. Additionally there are 3 sun loungers available in the outside storage box. Here, again, you have the same fabulous view to the Cabreras, as from the master bedroom. Not only is the view of the mountains and old golf course, lemon and orange groves beautiful, but you also have a sea view towards Mojacar and Garrucha.
This duplex is ideal for walkers, cyclists, or people needing lead, relaxation and tranquility! However, in this "majic" valley, there are 2 restaurant/bars and a restaurante. Take a drive up into Cabrera, (5 minutes!) and you will find two excellent bar/restaurantes. Or pop down to Turre(5 minutes) for a large selection of bars, restaurantes.
A swimming pool is available at the nearby Hostal Rural, a 4 minute drive. A small charge is made, or, if you are eating there, the pool is free. Additionally a pool is also available at Los Gallardos Camping Site, some 10 minutes drive.

Summary: The property is located in Sierra Cabrera. You definitely need a car. The drive to it was breathtaking. Stunning views. The property is well equipped with everything you need, beach chairs and parasol too. It was a pleasure to cook meals in the evening as the views, especially around sunset the valley turned gold, breathtaking. It was too beautiful to go out some nights and leave it behind. Enjoyed stargazing too! So take binoculars and see the Milky Way! (Not chocolate) Casa George is a stunning holiday home. Coffee on the terrace in the morning was a delight. The only fall back is the water pressure, it’s not welcoming to come back from a day at the beach to a trickle of a shower and there is nothing more pleasurable than a powerful shower. However, the owner does say that this should be sorted by next year. But overall, we managed because there were only two adults, with children this may prove inadequate. The house is stunning and beautiful. We had a fantastic holiday, in a quiet location, away from holiday makers.... well rested too on the fabulous new bed. One of the best holidays we have had for a while. We highly recommend it and we would definitely stay again. Thank you. The Deakins
