NB - Please note 22-27 November is the Santa Catarina Palopo annual festival. It is a fun time to visit, BUT there will be music and a lot of noise day and night during this time.
SWIMMING POOL (heated!) AND JACUZZI are shared with all 4 Villas on the Sueños de Sta Catarina site and has spectacular views of Lake Atitlan and its resident volcanoes. PLEASE NOTE THAT NONE OF THE VILLAS HAVE DIRECT VIEWS OF THE LAKE.
Sueños de Santa Catarina is a complex of comfortable, fully equipped vacation rentals with 2 bedrooms, a Sofabed (Queen), 3 bathrooms, and sleeps up to 6 people.
Prices listed are for 4 guests. More guests up to a MAXIMUM of 6 are charged at $20pp, per night.
Each Villa has two floors. The ground floor is open plan with a living room with fireplace (does NOT work) and sofa bed (Queen), then to the other side a fully-equipped modern kitchen and comfortable seating area for 6 people. Under the stairs is a full bathroom with shower. Sliding doors lead from the kitchen to a semi-covered, private outside eating area.
Upstairs are two spacious double bedrooms each with their own bathroom and with bath tub! The Master Bedroom is en-suite and has access to the wrap around balcony that offer partial views across the property to the spectacular volcanoes of Lake Atitlan beyond.
The second bedroom is a Twin with 2 single beds. Its bathroom is right next door and there is also a door leading to the wrap-around balcony.
Each villa is equipped with a washer/dryer and has access to 1 parking space. We can take requests for a second car space depending on availability. However, there is paid parking in the town too.
The inside Fireplace does NOT WORK - sorry! BUT: We have firepits for exterior use. Please ask Juan.
ALL FOUR villas are available to rent. Each villa is almost the same. If you wish to book one of the other Villas please let us know.
Villa Santa Catarina #1 - THIS HOUSE Has a Twin second Bedroom.
Villa Mil Flores #2 - Has a bunkbed with a Full/matrimonial below and a single above
Villa Jaguar #3 - Has a Queen double second bedroom and
Villa Santiago #4 - Has a Queen double second bedroom.
The villas can be rented by the week (7 nights for price of 6) and by the month. Please contact us for prices. We offer discounts if you rent more than 2 Villas at the same time.
The Perfect Get Away just outside of Panajachel and a great base for exploring the whole Lake Atitlan area.
Please remember this is a small, un-touristy town, so there are not any tourist-aimed restaurants or bars here, HOWEVER, in nearby Pana there are plenty along with everything else you might need during your stay.

SWIMMING POOL & JACUZZI AREA BY VILLA 5 (NOT for rent): Please be sure to observe our rules and regulations for this area and use of both water facilities. NO NON RESIDENTS ARE ALLOWED IN THIS AREA. Thank you for your understanding.
The gardens surround all four Villas and are shared. There is access to the Lake/beach front at the end of the property by the swimming pool - please see map.
There is access to the public beach in front of the swimming pool area. PLEASE NOTE THE WONDERFUL VIEWS OF LAKE ATITLAN AND THE VOLCANOES ARE ONLY FROM THE POOL AREA. NONE OF THE VILLAS HAVE DIRECT VIEWS.
Each house is private along with its own private outside terrace.
There are 2 BBQs shared between all 4 Villas - please let Juan know in advance if you wish to use it. It is gas. There are also a couple of shared small exterior/ chimney/fireplaces - again ask Juan.

Extra guests of a 5th or 6th guest will be charged at $20pp per night.
Each villa is private to guests. The gardens and pathway down to the Swimming pool area and public beach is shared amongst the Villas.
ALL FOUR Villas are available to book! So, perfect for groups as well.

Please note there is an armed guard at night for your extra security.
If you wish to bring guests not staying at the Villa to the house PLEASE BE SURE TO ADVISE JUAN OF THIS AND ONLY DURING THE DAY TIME, AND NOT TO USE THE POOL AREA.
CHECK IN is between 2-7pm. Please be sure to give an approx. arrival time at least 24 hours before arriving. Please also call the Guardian Juan from Pana (10 min drive away), so he can open the gates for you. AND if you are running late.
There is parking (1 car per villa) and at night there is an armed security guard.
We send extensive Welcome Notes to all our guests and have a set in each house for guests during their stay.
Please respect the QUIET HOURS - 10pm - 9am
Check In - 2-7pm. Please advice us ahead of time if you will be arriving after 7pm
Check Out is BEFORE 11am PLEASE!
There should be cleaning things below the sink in the kitchen and a broom. If you cannot find these and require them, please just ask Juan.
WE DO NOT PROVIDE CLEANING IN THE VILLAS, just a change of linens if staying a week or more. If you cannot find them, then please just ask Juan.
