This spacious cottage is approx 10km from Cape Town CBD and 8.5km from the popular Victoria & Alfred Waterfront. There are beautiful beaches within 2.5km of the cottage, and a lovely shopping center with a variety of shops and restaurants about 800m walking distance. The cottage is close to the R27 West Coast tourist route, and the MyCiti bus route. Uber taxi's also operate in this area.
From the secure off-street parking you enter the cottage and the open plan fully equipped kitchen / lounge area which has a 4-seater dining table as well as a comfortable couch. The room is bright and light with a cast iron wood burning stove to keep you cosy on col winter nights. The large sliding door overlooks the private North facing garden complete with a small entertainment area and braai (barbeque) facilities.
The cottage has one bedroom with a comfortable queen size bed, desk and lamp, walk-in cupboard and en-suite bathroom with shower.
There is also a separate guest toilet off the lounge.
In the lounge there is a LCD television with android TV box and the cottage has unlimited Wifi access.
Both water and electricity are in short supply in South Africa, and we are currently experiencing planned electricity outages.
During electricity load shedding we have backup for the wifi, TV, and some lighting.
Cooking can be done on the outside braai (barbeque) and we have both electric and gas hotplates in the cottage kitchen.
There is a washing machine and dishwasher provided in the cottage for your convenience.
Your hosts, Debbie, and Stuart, stay on the property next door, and are available should you have any queries or need anything.
The cottage is serviced weekly, and towels and linen are changed. Should guests require this more frequently this can be arranged at an additional charge.
We have supplied some basics... coffee, tea, sugar, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
