The Space:
The apartment is located at Folois street. The elevator can take you to the 5th floor where you take the stairs for one more floor (on foot!) to unlock the marvelous “eagle’s nest” experience that the apartment offers at the top of the building.
Opening the door, you come across a double bed and a wardrobe for you to arrange your items, a bathroom with a shower provided with supplies, and a kitchen fully equipped for preparing coffee-breakfast and a proper meal.
Above all, the spacious balcony of this studio offers you company with the birds in a unique experience, overseeing the city and the changing colors of the skyline.

Guest Access:

Τo reach the apartment from the airport by transport you can grab blue line metro (line 3) from the airport and disembark at Monastiraki station (a 40-minute ride). There you change lines to take on green line (line 1) in the destination of Kifissia and disembark at Agios Nikolaos station (a 9-minute ride), from where the apartment will be 650m away on foot, estimated at 8-10 minutes walking exploring the beautiful Kipseli. Alternatively, after you disembark at Agios Nikolaos station you can take a cab for a three-minute ride to the apartment.
If you would rather take a taxi from the airport, it will be a 40-50 minutes ride and cost 40-50 euros.
The Neighborhood:
The Athenian neighborhood of Kypseli, just 3.5 km from the centre, is one of the oldest neighborhoods of Athens. Supermarkets or mini markets are just a few blocks away, as are restaurants that offer homemade food. During certain days of the week, you have the opportunity to buy fresh fruit and vegetables at its colorful flea markets.
Here you can be a breath away from the center of Athens, and yet part of a non-tourist scene.
For those seeking a breath of fresh air and outdoor recreation, the famous public park of Areos Field is within walking distance. Here, you can enjoy a leisurely stroll, have a picnic or simply relax in the beauty of nature. If you are in the mood for a refreshing dip, you'll be pleased to discover a professional public swimming pool nearby, which you can reach on foot.
Fokionos Negri, also a good spot to explore food tastes, art, parks and numerous bars & cafeterias in only 8 minutes away on foot, is perhaps the most famous pedestrian street in Athens. It is a street with history, vitality, colorfulness and a strong presence of art, which aspires to relive the days of its former glory.
Getting Around:
Αs has been mentioned above, Agios Nikolaos station of the green line metro is an 8-minute walk from the apartment and can easily take you within 3 stops to Monastiraki Square, a picturesque area of Athens where you will find coffee shops, restaurants and people who are happy to greet you!
"Lysiatreio" & "Kallifrona" bus stops, located 3 minutes away from the apartment, can also serve you if you would grab a trolley (511) or bus (608) that will directly take you to Syndagma Square (near the Parliament of Athens) or Ermou street, or at Akadimias street where one of the greatest law University schools is located at a square full of history and monuments. This ride will maybe take you 30 minutes as you experience the inner city of Athens. Disembarkng at the stop "KIPOS" (GARDEN) you’ll get a chance to experience the National Garden Botanical Museum and Benaki Museum of Greek Culture.
Don’t forget to book your tickets to Acropolis sightseeing and the Acropolis Museum as well. By grabbing green metro line from Agios Nikolaos station, disembarking at "Omonoia" and then changing to red line metro, you come to famed Acropolis within a total of a few stops.
If you set off from the beginning of Ermou street, Syntagma square, all the way down to Thiseio, you’ll witness a noteworthy change as the scenery transforms from fancy outlet stores to antique shops all the way to Thiseiou street. Make a stop at Monastiraki square, and you may be lucky enough to be entertained by performers, singers, dancers and live African american street music.
