Positive: The resort was immaculately maintained and full of very friendly staff. We arrived after a slightly traumatic taxi ride in which our five year old vomited several times. The staff were so helpful in cleaning him up and letting us off the check in process until the following day (as we had arrived late at night). The two bed villa was extremely spacious and designed to a high specification. More than big enough for a family of three. Whilst we paid for a marina view room, the view was predominately of the sea which was a nice bonus. The food at Suru and Callaloo was excellent, we didn’t have a bad meal. There were plenty of options so needn’t have eaten the same food twice over the course of the week we were there. There were plenty of sun beds around both the pools and beach along with parasols. A lot of the customers were repeat visitors and I can see why. We will certainly be back soon.

Negative: There were a few minor issues, most notably that one of the restaurants (The Beach Club) was closed for refurbishment (along with a neighbouring swimming pool). We were alerted to this prior to our visit (albeit after booking) and told that the hotel would waive the room service tray charge ($20 a go) so that we could dine in the room as compensation. Our room overlooked the refurbishment work and there was some building noise but it wasn’t too intrusive. The building work is meant to be complete at the end of November 2025. Not the hotel’s fault but it is an hour and a half taxi ride from the airport so bear that in mind when planning travel.
