This beautiful studio style apartment is part of a collection of self catering holiday apartments in North Norfolk, otherwise known as The Eiders. The property has been meticulously refurbished in 2021 resulting in a beautiful secluded retreat that allows you to get away from it all and relax.
The Eiders benefits from an outdoor swimming pool (the outdoor swimming pool is open from 6th May to the 1st October), as well as a fire pit and gardens making it a perfect spot to explore the ever popular North Norfolk area. Ideal for couples, this property can accommodate up to 2 guests

1 small-medium sized dog allowed with prior agreement.
THE SPACE
The Orpington Garden Studio is a a fantastic one bed property featuring a king-sized bed, kitchenette and dining table for two. French patio doors open out onto the decked outdoor seating area overlooking the gardens and duck pond with field views in the distance.
The kitchenette offers a kettle, toaster, microwave, hot plates, along with crockery and silverware. The apartment also benefits from a built in wardrobe, two small armchairs, a dressing table and flat screen television.
The spacious bathroom features a large walk-in shower.
Set within 2 acres of land, The Eiders offers guests access to the shared gardens, fire pit area and of course the fabulous outdoor heated swimming pool! There’s seating, sun loungers and umbrellas available for use.
The outdoor swimming pool is open from 6th May to the 1st October.

Summary: Like estate agents photos the one of the apartment gives it a feeling of good proportions but this is misleading it was cramped and small. The place although filled with elegant chairs and a four poster, was difficult to live in. The cooking area was cramped and so difficult to cook in as the twin electric rings took a long time to heat but the microwave/convection oven was ok after some practice but heated in a normal way. I struggled with the hand washing up and drainer as it was infront of the kettle and partly Infront of the twin rings. I was constantly checking that the draining water did not get round the electrical flexes. I found a place for the toaster either on the table or by the bed depending on whether the socket was available. Luxury means to me that there is a dishwasher and enough room to live comfortably? The four poster came in useful to throw the towels over to air. Although the temperature fell while we were there the radiator in the bathroom only came on for a short time each day. The pool was closed as the season was over, mid September, and the unhappy duckpond was covered in a thick covering of duckweed. There were no ducks in residence. The pond needed some serious work on it to free it of the weed and get it back to a better biological balance. The owners have only been in residence a year and it will take them a lot of time and effort to rethink these apartments and make them into really modern luxury accommodation. Pull out the interiors, give less room to the bathroom and more space for a manageable kitchen and living area? One j-cloth and an old washing-up brush is really not up to the task of wiping the surfaces and cleaning the dishes!
