The apartments have a raw feel with a cozy touch and high quality interior recently updated in January 2020. Plenty of daylight, huge balconies, elevator access, spacious bathrooms and open kitchen/living area makes this a perfect fit for a big family or couples traveling together.
The Space:
Floor to ceiling windows fill both bedrooms and the living area with lots of daylight and views to the big courtyard area. A spacious balcony opens up for summer chilling and in higher units view to the main harbour canal. The concrete building has sound proofed walls for maximum privacy and the fully equipped open kitchen invites for cozy dinner parties. Bathrooms are spacious and spotless and you will also find a washer and dryer in each apartment.
A tour of the place
All apartments have elevator access and private entrance with a keycard.
The entrance has plenty of space for overcoats, luggage and shoes. Straight ahead is the big bathroom with a spacious shower and hot water that never runs out.
Down the hall to your right are the two bedrooms next to each other. Kingsize quality beds (180x200cm) can split into singles if preferred and we always prepare each bed with a pillow selection for your comfort.
The living space is at the other end of the apartment which invites for late snoozing in the bedrooms while breakfast is being prepared in the distant kitchen.
The kitchen is fully equipped and the dining table for six lets you host in house dinners with friends or family.
The lounge furniture and 45” flatscreen TV with AppleTV connected is suited for all of you to enjoy a movie night on some of those rainy Copenhagen days. But don’t worry we also get quite a lot of sunny days which can be spent on the big terrace overlooking the courtyard and for some apartments with views of Islands Brygge and even the pier.
The sofa in the living area unfolds to a high quality queensize bed (160x200cm) for two.
The Neighborhood:
The Pier apartments are situated on Islands Brygge which is across the canal from the busy city center. The neighbourhood is a summer hang out spot favoured by locals. The harbour bath attracts sunbathers and youngsters for a dip in the extraordinary clean city water. With plenty of local eateries, supermarkets and a beautiful newly build walking and bicycle path that takes you over the canal this is a laid back, upscale, local and yet central location for visiting Copenhagen.
