You are within a 5 minutes drive of the award-winning beach of Saunton Sands; prestigious 36 hole championship golf course; and in the other direction the shops, cafes and restaurants in the charming village of Braunton. With Croyde just around the headland and the beaches of Woolacombe and Putsborough just a short drive away, this Barn’s location is enviable. With the long, sandy stretches of beach, crashing surf, miles of beautiful coastal paths and cycle routes to explore, this is the perfect North Devon destination for the quintessential seaside holiday. After long days of exploring, bathing and surfing, return to Puts Barn to watch the sunset over Braunton Burrows and Saunton Sands Beach.
The newly renovated barn features a fully fitted kitchen with all the essentials you’ll need to cook up a delicious feast for you and your party members.
Just off the kitchen is an open plan living area with a spacious dining table, offering the perfect space for everyone to gather after a day of relaxing around the pool (open May – September).
After long days exploring the area, you’ll get a restful night’s sleep in our spacious bedrooms — offering comfy beds and crisp linens, calming views and a peaceful atmosphere — and wake up restored and feeling rejuvenated for another day.
The lovely master is on the first floor and has a double-sized bed and plenty of storage for all your belongings. Throw the window open wide and let in the scents and sounds of the countryside while enjoying morning coffee from the comfort of the cosy bed.
A second bedroom on the ground floor has twin beds which can also be made up as a super king-sized bed upon request when booking. There’s also a day bed in this room that will be perfect for little ones / teens.
Also on the ground floor is the family bathroom. The bathroom features a spacious shower over the bath and offers all the amenities you will need during your stay.
Outside is a shared courtyard with a bistro dining table, seating and BBQ area for Puts Barn, a perfect place to sit and eat breakfast in the mornings or unwind at the end of the day. There is also secure storage onsite for bicycles and a covered area for surf equipment and wetsuits.
Follow the signs up the path to the spacious communal garden where you’ll find a children’s play area and seating to enjoy the stunning elevated views.
At the bottom of the garden you’ll discover the large, heated swimming pool. Securely fenced, the pool is open to all guests from 8am – 8pm/dusk between May – September.
Please note no lifeguards are on duty, children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
