There is a marina where you can moor your boat and an excellent fishing spot, so it's virtually impossible not to catch something! There are cycling paths and nodes through the entire Veluwe as well as several hiking trails. Do not forget your beach stuff, because the park has a recreational lake surrounded by sandy beaches and sunbathing areas! You cannot think of something which The Scherpenhof Recreational park does not have: a huge indoor playground where children can have fun all day, an indoor and outdoor pool, a cozy bar and nightclub where everyone goes wild, and much more like: Bowling - Indoor playground - Marina - Internet (currently only in the main building, free of charge) - Outdoor swimming pool (1 July / August 31) - Indoor swimming pool - Recreation team - Restaurant - Snack Bar - Playground with over 30 attractions - Sports and playing fields - Table tennis - Tennis - Fishing - Laundry and Recreation. This fully furnished chalet can accommodate up to 4 people. This chalet has a living room with open kitchen. The living room is equipped with standard equipment such as a flat screen TV, DVD player and radio CD player. The open kitchen is equipped with a 4-burner stove, refrigerator with freezer, coffee machine, microwave, dishwasher and kettle. There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with a twin bed. The bathroom has a shower and toilet. Outside on the terrace you have access to garden furniture including umbrella.The implementation / layout of the accommodations may differ. The park "Scherpenhof" lies in the triangle of Deventer, Apeldoorn and Zutphen. So you can really go wherever you want. To begin with, you can go to the National Park "Hoge Veluwe", an area full of beautiful biking and hiking trails.Then there is the Hanzestad of Deventer, which is well worth a visit. They organize various attractive activities in summer, such as the summer fair, the "Deventer Book Fair" and the theater festival "Deventer on stilts" that takes place in the open air. Vaassen and Epe are villages where you can delight to explore.Really fun and interesting attractions that are easily accessible from the Scherpenhof: the zoo "de Apenheul: in Apeldoorn, the royal palace "Het Loo", the tower "Queen Juliana", Walibi World and the Dolphinarium in Harderwijk.If you have your own boat the marina Scherpenhof is an ideal base to make a trip on the river IJssel.
