There is a ferry line which runs a few times a day from Makarska to Sumartin on the island Brač. The famous Punta Rata beach (blue flag) is situated in Brela and was selected among the 10 most beautiful beaches in the world. The beach is pebbly while the sea entrance is sandy. All the beaches of Makarska rivijera are surrounded by beautiful pine forests and crystal clear water.
