Positive: Villa Gloria has a beautiful location right on the lake, with stunning views. The 1950s architecture is stylish and full of character. The interior is a bit dated and filled with antiques – charming if that suits your taste. The house was clean and had nice towels. The pool is large and lovely. The hosts live in the upstairs apartment but were very friendly and flexible – even arranging restaurant bookings. Great base for exploring nearby villages. The family-friendly beach in Angera is a real tip. Be aware: there are quite a lot of mosquitoes in and around the house – bring repellent!
