Welcome to this lovely country house for 9 people in Valldemossa The outdoor areas are beautiful: the house features a chlorinated 7x5 pool with a depth range of 1,4-1,8m, fully equipped porch and terrace and magnificent views to Tramuntana Mountains. A 300m2-sized house is distributed over three floors and features 5 air-conditioned bedrooms (4 bedrooms are on the 1st floor: 2 double bedrooms, a twin bedroom and a single bedroom; 2 bedrooms have ensuite-bathrooms). On the ground floor there is a double bedroom. A cot and a baby chair can be provided upon request. Beside the en-suite bathrooms, there is another bathroom with a bath tube. A cozy air-conditioned living room is a lovely place to watch a satelite TV or to read a favourite book on the sofa. For colder months there is a wooden oven. A dining corner has enough space to enjoy meal with a family. A kitchen with an induction cooker is equipped with all necessary utensils needed to cook a favourite meal. There is a central gas heating all over the house. The area around the house and the place itself are breathtakingly beautiful. Valldemossa is one in the west of the island's most famous and most beautiful villages of Mallorca. The place is surrounded by the mountain range of Serra de Tramuntana, which was declared by UNESCO in 2011 as a World Heritage Site. The village with its narrow cobbled streets you will certainly enchant you. The facades of the typical Majorcan houses are decorated by the locals with various flower pots, giving the place an added attraction. Valldemossa tells its own story and is mainly known for its church. The locals call this sacred building "Cartoixa ". However, it was formerly the first palace built by the Catalan kings. During the 19th century, the famous musician Frédéric Chopin lived in Valldemossa, to recover from tuberculosis disease. His wife, George Sand, accompanied him. In the 20th and 21st century, the quiet village was discovered by other celebrities. Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta -Jones own a house not far from Valldemossa. In the culinary world Valldemossa is famous for its "Coques de patata". It is pastry made from potato, which is dipped in hot chocolate sauce. Try it for breakfast in one of the little terraces in town! In the area there are also some lovely rocky and pebbly beaches and bays with crystal clear water. A few examples would be: Port de Valldemossa, Port of Canonge, Cala Deia and Llucalcari. If you prefer sandy beaches, you can reach the sandy bays of Palma is just 20 minutes by car.
