Summary: This is a great property for a family. Great proximity to the beach. Unpretentiously furnished and decorated. The owner is very responsive to texts. There is a garage that can fit two cars which is wonderful. A few tips: There is a rather large dune at the end of the street which is a bear to get over with all your beach gear but if you walk just one street over to Concord Av. you can walk right out onto flat beach. Lots of good eats within walking distance or just a short drive including Tuna Striker right over the bridge (put your name in an hour or two before you want to eat) and twin lobsters at Wally’s on Tuesdays for just $16.99. Also can’t go wrong at sea ketch. Don’t miss out on the fireworks on Wednesday nights- they’re really good. One thing I felt was missing, especially for a beach house, is some kind of foot rinse or hose outside so you can prevent tracking sand inside. Note that you do not get any starter supplies except for a roll of toilet paper and a sponge so you will need to plan to bring everything you will need from dish detergent to paper towels and trash bags etc. Overall we had a really great stay and enjoyed our week at this property.
