There are a few cafeโs and a Fish and Chip shop within walking distance and the community pub just up the road. Caernarfon is just 6 miles away, with its impressive castle, Unesco World Heritage Site, Waterside Doc area and Art centre, also many independent shops and restaurants within the winding streets. If youโre looking for a day out, maybe join the Welsh Highland Railway steam train in Caernarfon or go up to Snowdon on the Mountain Railway. However, itโs far more rewarding to walk if you can as the seats are quite hard and if its foggy you donโt see much of the view, but itโs still fun if you take a picnic.
