Positive: We here for 6 nights specifically for the safari - we spent 4 days on safari and 1 day looking for the Ganges River Dolphins (which we did see) and were able to see a lot of wildlife during this time including 3 tigers on 3 separate days in December plus otters, wild boar, sambar deer, barasingha, spotted deer, barking deer, hog deer, mongoose, rhino, elephant, langurs, macaques, fruit bats, different birds including birds of prey which was due to a lot of hard work from our guide(Shardul)/driver(Shiva), some patience and little bit of luck - because spotting wildlife doesn’t come easily but it’s so rewarding when all the efforts pay off. It was all very worthwhile, the food at the Homestay is amazing Nepalese dishes and they made everything from the vegetable garden on site. They used filtered water refills which is good for the environment too. Shardul, his wife, family and staff are all lovely and the customer service was really good. Would recommend 10/10 and will also be visiting again! You can sit by a lovely fire pit in the colder months too, which was an added bonus.
