Positive: If you are looking to escape the pressures of modern life then this is the place for you. The house is superb in every way, well equipped, clean and comfortable, yet retaining a bucolic tranquility that is only enhanced by the spectacular garden. Indeed you are free to wander amongst bowers and concealed plots planted with a fine range of trees and shrubs - spring, when the floral display is at its finest would, I would say, be a fabulous time to stay. Carol is a lovely host who offers plenty of suggestions for visits locally. This is, altogether, a wonderful place, and one that we hope to visit again.
Negative: Everything was brilliant.
