Se trata de un ático situado en un antiguo convento en pleno casco histórico del Madrid de los Austrias. Edificio con fachada clásica del siglo XIX. El interior de la vivienda, a la que se accede a través de la escalera original del convento, está íntegramente zona es turística por excelencia, aunque conserva la esencia de barrio en el que aún se conocen y saludan los vecinos. El ambiente es muy agradable y distendido, y uno puede disfrutar tanto de los monumentos artísticos, como de edificios arquitectónicos singulares y también de los excelentes restaurantes y bares de la zona. A tan solo 5 minutos a pie del Palacio Real, Plaza Mayor, 15 minutos andando hasta los museos del Prado, Reina Sofía y (URL HIDDEN) vivienda consta de 3 estancias con 3 baños en suite, dos con ducha y la otra con ducha-bañera de obra. De las tres estancias, dos de ellas se usan como dormitorios y tienen vestidor. La tercera, también con armarios empotrados, es un espacio abuhardillado polivalente, puede utilizarse como dormitorio de servicio, de invitados o como cuarto de juegos o sala de televisión. Las zonas comunes mantienen un espíritu de loft desde la amplísima zona de entrada —que se utiliza como galería fotográfica y zona de trabajo y lectura—, hasta la zona de estar-comedor-cocina, un espacio grande y abierto tanto a la Calle del Almendro como a bonitos patios conventuales dominados por el cielo y los tejados de Madrid. Se han conservado todos los techos originales, las bovedillas de las zonas comunes se han pintado del mismo color marfil que las paredes, mientras que en dos de los dormitorios se conservan las vigas de madera originales del convento. La vivienda respeta la solera del lugar y ha sido dotada de todas las comodidades posibles: climatización de última generación con suelo radiante-refrescante, aire acondicionado... El suelo de toda la vivienda, así como los platos de ducha y la bañera, son del mismo material, cemento pulido realizado de manera artesanal.Las escaleras que conducen a dos de las estancias de descanso y la que une la zona de galería y lectura con el salón-comedor-dormitorio son de hierro industrial.Destacan también las carpinterías exteriores de hierro color gris grafito, de gran aislamiento térmico y acústico, y la cálida y moderna iluminación.El mobiliario está compuesto por iconos de diseño industrial y piezas diseñadas por el propio arquitecto, así como otras provenientes de herencia familiar. Se ha mantenido una sencillez y respeto al medio ambiente y a la historia del edificio en los materiales empleados: madera, hierro y cemento aplicado y elaborado de manera artesanal
