The villa is a warm, welcoming space, filled with modern facilities and situated in beautiful park like grounds with mountain views. Sun & light floods into the villa and there is plenty of space on either of the 2 entertainment decks where you can enjoy one of our Central Otago beautifully crafted wines. This home holds the heat and offers a gas fire and heat pump for extra comfort which allows you to move freely through the open plan living & dining areas. The bedrooms are spacious with 2 x king beds and 4 x singles along with a large bathroom and ensuite, each with their own thermostat heater.
PLEASE NOTE: There is a water bubble that is slightly warping the lounge room ceiling (please note that it does not pose any structural concern - it is purely aesthetic for now and will be fixed in Spring). We know you will still love this property for your family getaway.
Your kitchen is fully equipped with all you need or Wanaka township & the lake is a short 5 minute drive away. If hiking or biking is your thing then your in for a treat as you have direct access to trails, lake rides and a variety of walks or you may enjoy wine trails and tastings....either way you wont be short on things to do and see in beautiful Wanaka
PLEASE NOTE: Airbnb does not consider infants to be guests (when counting numbers) and will allow you to book this property if any infants accompanying you take your guest numbers to higher than 8 guests. Unfortunately, our council regulations prohibit us from exceeding this number, including infants. If you do book for more than 8 guests, infants included, we will unfortunately need to cancel your booking and you will need to incur any fees we get charged. Please also note that there is no infant bedding provided with this property - you will need to bring your own port-a-cot and linen if you are bringing an infant.

Wanaka township sits on the edge of the glacier feed waters of Lake Wanaka with the stunning back drop of the majestic Southern Alps. You wont be short of breath taking beauty everywhere you look in the Central Lakes Region and Wanaka`s Heritage Park Villas are no exception. A group of alpine villas make up Heritage Park and the grounds add space and beauty the villas. Set amongst established trees, golf like mowed lawns and beautiful gardens you get a sense of peace and space throughout the grounds. Wanaka Heritage Park offers a recreation center offering a small gym and work out room with a tennis court also.
Enter Wanaka on Hwy 84, turn left into Riverbank Rd, right into Orchid Rd and right onto Mt View Dr. Take the first right and follow this road around to Villa 17.
We are 1.15 hours drive over NZ highest alpine pass the Crown Range from Queenstown and the airport. You can also drive to Wanaka via Cromwell which takes 1.5 hours from Queenstowns airport. Wanaka does not have a public transport system so you will most likely need a vehicle to get around in. Biking is a very popular way to see Wanaka and walking is an easy option also. We do have taxi`s and most adventure activities provide pick up/drop off transport either door to door or from their depot in Wanaka.

This home is not a party house & all noise is to be kept to a minimum. Please be aware there are neighbors so all outdoor areas must be vacated by 10pm. There are to be no extra guests over and above what you have booked for, no caravans, motor homes, freedom vans or tents on the property. The property grounds are to be kept tidy also please.
