Escape to the country for some wifi & TV free down time in this lovely mud brick cottage. One double bedroom with ensuite; lounge with sofa bed,dining facilities, including fridge and convection microwave oven & BBQ , pots & pans electric elements for your cooking convenience; and a wood burner heater to snuggle up in front of on those winter nights. With beautiful views over the dam , get close to nature with the kookaburras call. This lovely retreat will offer you time to relax and recharge. We have two sheep, dog's, cats! All very social that you are more than welcome to interact with. 16 minutes drive to Ballarat 10 minutes to Buninyong's shop's which includes a Foodworks , pub , cafe's , fast food shop's , petrol station , post office , chemist. Mobil phone reception is great in our area if you need a mobile hot spot for work etc. Feel free to bring your pet as we are pet friendly. The cottage is located approximately 15 meters from our main house but rest assured that you will have privacy. So what are you waiting for come and explore what the Ballarat region has to offer.

Summary: The dogs were thrilled, and we were nice and comfortable. A fire for us and the pond and friendly sheep and friendly owner's dogs for the dogs. My water dogs adored jumping in the pond and having a good swim several times a day. For my youngest dog (1.5yr) the sheep were a very good learning experience. They are in a paddock so safe from an enthusiastic young dog but are used to dogs so don't spook. Thus, I could train my youngest to sit quietly and look. I'm sooooooo happy. My older boy dog (3yr) is used to more animals and went nose to nose with the friendliest sheep and on the last morning those two went nose to nose again thru the fence and that sheep's tail was just wagging so fast. Lovely experience.
