Positive: We loved our stay. When we were booking this house we had doubts if the pictures were real and not too photoshoped but we have to admit the house turned out to be more beautiful than in pictures. The house, especially the living room and the kitchen were extremely cozy - just the thing we were looking for Christmas! The fireplace was amazing, same with the jaw-dropping views of the mountains from the living room. The hosts also made sure for us to feel comfortable: the check-in and gathering keys was extremely convenient, we got a lot of extras free of charge (very good coffee, hot chocolate, popcorn, a huge variety of spices we could use to cook dinner) and the house is supplied with DVDs, board games, slays, Netflix and Youtube app on tvs and even a canoe for summer stays. So it is a wonderful option not only for winter but you can probably enjoy more of all of this house has to offer in summer. For example there is a nice outside patio with grill and beautiful views! The area is also really nice. It is close to beautiful Leadville.
Negative: Be careful which road you take to get to the house. Just one of them is good enough in winter without 4WD and it is not the one GPS shows as default. More blankets downstairs could be useful. It is difficult to set the temperature so that the top bedroom is not insanely hot and downstairs is not too cold.
