Positive: Here’s a more natural, human-sounding version: Booked this place pretty last minute and honestly didn’t know what to expect. I messaged the host asking if I could check in a bit earlier than usual, and they were super chill about it. Then my plans shifted and I ended up arriving way later than I said I would, and they still waited up for me without making me feel bad about it. That kind of patience is rare, and it really set the tone for the whole stay. First thing I have to say: the price is ridiculous for what you actually get. I kept thinking I must have missed a hidden fee somewhere because the place is way nicer than what I paid for. The location is something else. It’s in a really quiet pocket of Bremen, right next to a nature reserve, so you get all this green space and flowers and fresh air right outside your window. But it’s not isolated either. Bus stop is about 5 minutes walking, and Rewe and Lidl are around 8 minutes away, so getting groceries or heading into the city is no hassle at all. The room was bigger than I expected. Comfy double bed, proper wardrobe with actual space to hang stuff and put things away. And the balcony, I have to talk about the balcony. It faces directly out into nature. I spent a lot of mornings just sitting out there with coffee not wanting to leave. Everything inside is clean and well looked after. Bathroom and toilet were spotless. There’s a washing machine, which was a lifesaver. Smart TV in the living room for chilling in the evenings. And the kitchen is properly stocked, like actually stocked, not the usual “one pan and a fork” situation you sometimes get. But honestly, the hosts are what make this place. They’re so kind it almost catches you off guard. They make you feel like you’re staying with friends rather than renting a room. Just genuinely warm, helpful people who clearly care about their guests. Would I book again? Without a doubt.
Negative: I would’ve loved a small kettle in the room so I could make tea or coffee whenever without going to the kitchen. There’s a great kettle in the kitchen so it’s really not a big deal, just a personal preference.
