Summary: Deciding to take a break from our van travel through France, we found this wonderful Gรฎte with exactly what we needed to recharge from our travels. Le Grand Chene is set in beautiful tranquil grounds, surrounded by vineyards and sunflower fields. Emmanuel and James were lovely, welcoming and shared their local knowledge which only enhanced our visit. They made us feel really welcome without being intrusive. We fell in love with the gorgeous peaceful setting, large grounds and wonderful walks, which the dogs loved! the surrounding roads are also very quiet and made for some very scenic cycles. The accommodation is very comfortable, spotless, and well appointed. The pool was perfect for cooling off from the heat. Its location means you donโ€™t need to drive too far to visit the very lovely towns of Duras and Eymet. We and the dogs would definitely want to come back and would not have any hesitations in recommending. Thank you Emmanuel and James (and Max!).
