This refurbished home offers an abundant, well-appointed kitchen with a huge center island. Just off the butlerโs pantry, there is a 1/2 bathroom as you walk towards the formal dining room. The two- first floor living rooms are separated by a grand staircase and French doors. Play a tune on the piano as you make your way out to the gorgeous oversized round porch with views of Keuka Lake.
The first-floor bedroom features a queen-sized bed, desk, tv, ensuite bathroom with tub, and walk-in closet. This area also has a hall that can be closed off for more privacy.
The second level boasts 4 large bedrooms, 3 baths and a laundry room. The master suite features a king-sized bed, beautiful windows, walk-in closet, jetted tub and shower.
Wander up to the 3rd floor and find a space that the "littles" in your family will love. This large area offers 4 twin beds and plenty of space to play, stretch and enjoy the view of 'Crooked Lake.'

This home has been beautifully restored and meticulously maintained. We are excited to share this piece of history with our guests. We expect our guests to treat this home with the care and respect its history deserves.If you have particularly rowdy or destructive children (or adults!) in your group, this is NOT the house for you.There are beautiful original details to be mindful of - stained glass, pocket doors, glass cabinets, french doors, woodwork, etc.The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2024.

The Champlin House was once owned by Charles Davenport Champlin. In 1860, Mr. Champlin started Pleasant Valley Wine Company, the very first winery in the Finger Lakes region! It still stands today, two miles south of the Village of Hammondsport. The winery is best known for Great Western Champagne.
