Summary: Not the same Westin I appreciated during a previous stay. I requested a higher floor so my husband can enjoy the view of city since we were staying 8 nights. He was from Italy and this was his first visit to California. The gal who checked us in seemed new, inexperienced with no personality. Probably didnโ€™t care. We were placed on the 6th floor. She could have been more welcoming. The backing to the bathroom mirror was peeling making the room more dated than it was. It took awhile to realize it wasnโ€™t a cold I had but, the AC filter making me cough. It needed to be changed. I told the desk at check out. Check out was complete different. The employee was professional, experienced and seemed comfortable dealing with clientele. It was the old Westin personality I came back for.
