Larger cities, such as Artà, Manacor and complexes such as Porto Cristo and Cala Ratjada, on the east coast, are all great day trips to get to know the island. You can even take an unforgettable hot air balloon ride in Manacor, where you can see the island from a different angle! Busier beaches can be found in Port de Alcudia and Pollensa, both about 30-35 km away. The Formentor Peninsula with its lighthouse and beautiful mountain paths is also very pleasant to visit.
