Positive: We chose to stay at Villa Melissa because it was far enough out of the way of tourist areas but close enough to shops. The villa itself is well sized and there was plenty of room for 2 adults, 2 kids and 1 toddler (she slept in our room in a travel cot). Mike was there to meet us on arrival and show us around, there was breakfast in the cupboard and fruit in the fridge. Mike's mum even made us dinner one evening. This is a lovely villa in a quiet part of a nice island, we look forward to returning and exploring more in the future.
Negative: We stayed in late October and for the most part the weather was warm (22c) but when the sun set, the evenings had a chill in the air. This was to be expected but this was particularly noticeable at the villa because the sun would set earlier behind the surrounding mountains/hills. On the plus side those mountains/hills also protect the villa from the winds from the north so there not to bad.
