This stunning cottage is filled with love and vintage charm. So get ready to relax and unwind overlooking emerald green fields, listen to the beautiful birdsong and enjoy this perfect countryside retreat.
The space
Willow cottage is newly decorated and finished to a very high standard.
It comprises of two bedrooms upstairs, one of which has a huge window which overlooks miles upon miles of green fields. This bedroom has a comfy kingsize bed which is perfect for lazy mornings in bed taking in the breathtaking view.
The second bedroom is beautifully finished and has two lovely single sleigh beds and an eye catching french dressing table.
The newly tiled bathroom is also upstairs. It has a lovely handmade washstand with a counter top sink, a toilet and a shower. The shower enclosure is 90x90cm, so a little on the small size.
The groundfloor consists of an open plan kitchen/dining/sittingroom. The kitchen is very practical and includes a fridge with small freezerbox, washing machine, dishwasher, cooker, microwave, toaster and kettle.
There is a beautiful hand-painted dining table and chairs, perfect for enjoying a tasty meal and a glass of wine.
The seating area has a two seater sofa and two really fantastic antique armchairs. So snuggle up, grab a book and enjoy a cosy cup of tea!
We are vegan friendly and do our best to ensure that all our cleaning products/soap are vegan and cruelty free.
Willow Cottage is located adjacent to our family home, so you can be guaranteed a warm welcome from Buddy and Elsa, with excited barking and wagging tails. But don't worry, these two furry hosts are behind a fence so you won't end up covered in dog kisses. We also have adopted three feral cats; Lavender, Daisy and Rosemary, who are super sneaky and try to sneak into the cottage. Please don't allow them inside.
We also have another lovely cat named Star and three fantastic horses named Willow, Bambi & Tilly. Yes you probably sensed our love for animals and yes Willow Cottage was named after our special pony Willow who you can see from the bedroom window.
We warmly welcome families with children, but they must be supervised at all times due to the close proximity to animals etc. There are also second floor skylight windows which open wide and no stair gates in Willow Cottage. These are worth noting if you have small children with a passion for climbing everything in sight.
Guest access
Feel free to enjoy a picnic in our front garden, but unfortunately there is no access for guests to the back garden or horse's yard/field.
Other things to note
We are vegan friendly but unfortunately cannot welcome pets due to our lovely rescue Beagle Buddy. He gets very stressed when other dogs are close by. Thankfully we have fields which he and his Golden Retriever 'sister' can enjoy without causing him stress.
